Strawberry Milk Paletas (Popsicles) Recipe

Strawberry Milk and Paletas Popsicles

Enjoy these refreshing and fruity strawberry paletas as a delightful treat on a hot day!

Paletas are Mexican-style ice pops that are typically made with fresh fruit, water or milk, and sometimes sugar or other sweeteners. Unlike traditional ice pops, paletas often feature chunks of fruit or even whole pieces suspended in the frozen treat, and may incorporate citrus juice or even herbs and spices for added complexity. From classic flavors like strawberry and mango to more adventurous combinations like cucumber and chili, paletas are a great way to cool down on a hot day.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and well combined. Taste and add sweetener (such as honey) if needed to adjust the sweetness.
  2. Carefully pour the strawberry milk mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold.
If you don't have popsicle molds, you can use small paper cups or ice cube trays.
  3. Place the filled popsicle molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  4. Once fully frozen, remove the paletas from the molds by running warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Gently pull the paletas out of the molds and serve immediately.
  5. If the unlikely event you have any paletas leftover, you can store them in an airtight container or wrapped in freezer paper freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

That's it! Now you have a delicious batch of homemade strawberry paletas ready to enjoy. It’s a delightful way to extend Smith Brothers Farms strawberry milk season by a few extra weeks!
