An easy, cheesy, and kid-friendly meal. Say no more!
What you need
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup BelGioioso Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Smith Brothers Farms Egg
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. ground pepper
- 16 oz. Cucina Fresca Marinara Sauce
- 8 oz. Tillamook Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Once well combined, shape into one and a half inch balls.
Hear 12-inch skillet over medium-high and place the meatballs in it, cook until bottoms of meatballs are browned. Turn, and brown the other side of the meatballs.
When two sides are browned, reduce heat to medium, and pour in marinara. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until meatballs register 160 degrees internally.
Split buns, and place three meatballs on the bun. Spoon some of the marinara sauce over, and two ounces of the mozzarella. Enjoy, but you might need a fork for this one!
