Immunity Boosting Smoothie with Carrot, Ginger and Turmeric

Boost your day with a delicious and nutritious Immunity Boosting Smoothie recipe from our friends at Nancy's Yogurt.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Nancy’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 apple, cored and roughly chopped
- ½ C. fresh carrot juice
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. oats
- 1-inch piece of ginger root, grated
- ½ tsp. cinnamon, plus more for garnish
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. honey (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped walnuts, for garnish
Directions
- Except for the walnut garnish, combine all ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth.
- Pour into two chilled glasses and garnish with cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
