Traditional New York-style bagels with the perfect amount of sourdough tang.

Seattle Bagel Bakery’s Sourdough Bagels boast zesty flavor and chewy texture – just like you’d expect sourdough to be. The Tukwila-based bakery uses the traditional method of kettle boiling in small batches giving all of their bagels a crisp, outer shell and chewy, dense pull-a-part texture on the inside. Pop in the toaster and top with cream cheese or butter and jam or make a sandwich with all your favorite fixins’.

Note: Shelf life is 5 days from the date of receipt.

Not what I thought

Maybe because I didn't toast it, but this sourdough bagel tasted more like raw dough bagel. Not purchasing again. Did not have the sourdough flavor I was expecting. I would have rather bought plain bagels.

Family fave!

I had to fight the kids to get one of these for myself. So good toasted. Just the right amount of sourdough flavor to satisfy me without being off putting to the littles.

Yum!

If you enjoy the density of homemade bread you'll love this. These bagels are really delicious. Not the level of SUPER sourdough from like Safeway or Seattle sourdough bread but a mild & very enjoyable taste. We'll def order again. Get the cinnamon vanilla cream cheese to go with them!!

delicious!

I really enjoyed these toasted with cream cheese. They weren't bad untoasted either.

Authentic Bagels

SBB makes the best bagels. So much better than the typical “bread with a hole” bagels you buy at the grocery store. I agree that these sourdough bagels are not incredibly strong on the sourdough flavor. But since
Smith Brothers doesn’t carry the large plain SBB bagels anymore, these are a good replacement.

Okay if you can't buy fresh bagels

Never tried this brand, so thought we'd see how they stack up against fresh bagels and grocery store bagels.  They are in league with grocery store bagels, not fresh bagels. They are good toasted but I wouldn't ever consider eating them untoasted.  If I can't buy fresh, these work.

Perfect Sourdough flavor & texture!

Great fresh sourdough flavor! It’s a family fav. Wonderful toasted.

These used to be great, but...

I'm not sure what happened, but over time they got both smaller and saltier. Intensely salty, even. When the first batch came like that, I figured it was some sort of mistake. After the second time, I switched which bagels I ordered. Such a shame.

Sourdough bagels
3/21/2021
Hey the holes are getting bigger which means the bagel is shrinking at the same rate.
Time for some quality control.

Bag was split
4/12/2021
The bag was split which made them kind of hard.

Does Not Taste like Sourdough
4/20/2021
Have tried these and to me they taste more like a mix of pretzel and plain. I got zero sourdough flavor in them. My husband says they just taste like salt. I had hoped the would have better flavor. Will not buy again, as someone who makes sourdough bread/ bagels, I can get better sourdough flavor myself.

Disappointed
6/01/2021
Was really disappointed with the Sourdough bagels.  Very hard chew..had to chew longer than normal before swallowing.  Had more of a saltier taste than a sourdough taste.

Dense Bagel
6/19/2021
These are very dense bagels, flavor was just ok.

Weirdly salty
7/12/2021
We’ve ordered some of the other Seattle Bagel Bakery bagels and liked them, so we thought we’d try their sourdough version. These were so salty that they were inedible.  Bummer, we were hoping they’d be as good as their cinnamon raisin bagels.

These are really dense and pretty awful
7/28/2021
These are not good! They taste like they failed to rise. super dense, very hard to eat, dry, and don't taste like Sourdough at all. Wish I hadn't bought them. Def would not recommend.
