Ready to heat and serve, enjoy three mildly spicy, cheesy tamales.

Mild green chiles, diced tomatoes, sweet corn, and cheddar cheese come together in these fresh and traditional tamales. Patty Pan Green Chile & Cheese Tamales feature heirloom white corn masa imported by Masienda, a company that works with smallholder subsistence farmers in Oaxaca, Mexico. Fillings are made from scratch using plenty of local and organic ingredients. Just steam and eat!

Cooking Tip: Don’t have a steamer and don’t like microwaving? No problem! Leave the husks on and you can heat tamales on a grill, or put them on the barbecue over a low flame for a nice smoky flavor. Remove the husks and you can fry them in a pan with little oil or butter, or you can deep fry them for a wonderfully crunchy result.

Note: The tamales are naturally gluten-free, but they are made in a facility that also processes wheat.

Fantastic

Came back to order more of these but they are out of stock.  Hopefully they are back soon.  My whole family loved them.

Did not enjoy

I was expecting masa with green chili’s and cheese in it but it’s actually masa with a bag of mixed vegetables and no cheese or flavor. I really wanted it to be good but it was one of the worst things I’ve gotten from the delivery items.

Tasty

I was surprised by the taste! Delish but you do need a sauce to make them taste better. I would buy these again.

Good tamales

Reheated nicely, quick and easy for lunch

A little dry

Unfortunately a little dry, I ate the first one and nobody else will eat the others.

Nope.

Masa was not flavorful.  Too little chiles, with too much cheese. Wanted to like them but won’t order again.

Delicious

These tamales are pretty much perfect. They’re really well balanced between the dough, cheese, and chiles.

Pretty good

I lived in New Mexico for 10 years, and I'd say these tamales, while definitely not traditional, are not bad.  The sweet corn threw me at first, but it mixes well with the slight spice.  I always steam (or microwave mine) and then pan sear them a little to bring out the flavor.  I did not find these dry at all, which is a problem with so many store bought tamales.   I was impressed enough with these that i'm going to try their tomatillo chicken burritos

Mushy goopy yum

These are horrible. If looking for authentic and traditional tamales these are not it. It was more like a chicken pot pie filling with red peppers added inside a raw dough. I managed one bite.

good!

the flavor inside was good, however the masa was a little understated, not big corn flavor like I was expecting. still good though!

petite & tasty

These are mild but pleasant, with a good texture and flavor. We steamed them (from frozen), and didn’t find them to be dry at all. They’re on the smaller side, which makes it easy to eat one as part of a meal, rather than an entire heavy meal on its own.

Loved them

These were so good. Nice and moist, full of fresh veggies. Really good flavor, just placed my order for more.

Great

Love these tamales! The flavor is great and tastes super fresh. Love all the fresh corn and chiles in them. We’ve been getting them weekly since they were added

Where's the cheese?
8/13/2021
Flavor was good. I enjoyed the addition of veggies. But with "cheese" in the title, I was VERY disappointed in the LACK of cheese.
If I order again I'll definitely serve them smothered in cheese.

Tasty

These taste good.  The filling was a great combo.  The masa dough was great!  The only thing I would change is it either needs more dough or less filling as they fell apart before I even heated them up.

Peculiar
8/18/2021
masa has a watery texture, filling of corn and chili very scant; no discernible cheese.
