Appel Farms has been handcrafting artisan cheese at their family-owned dairy in Ferndale, Washington for more than 30 years. Appel Farms was established in 1967, when the dream of owning a dairy farm brought the Appel family from Holland to Washington State! A true family operation, two of the owner’s children—brothers John and Rich Appel—are now involved in the farm's cheesemaking and help carry on family traditions created over the past three decades.
